How to Pin a folder to the taskbar
Pin a folder in the task-bar in just few clicks :
The Windows taskbar allows you to pin programs that you use often for quick access. If you have pinned Windows Explorer, you can also pin shortcuts to folders on its icon. You can then open them with just two clicks.
- First, make sure the Explorer is pinned by opening an Explorer window (this PC for example). Right click the explorer icon on the taskbar and click Pin this program to the taskbar. If the Unpin from taskbar command appears, do not do anything.
- In Windows Explorer, open the parent folder of the folder that you want to pin. Click on the name of the folder to pin.
- While holding down the button, drag it to the Explorer icon in the taskbar. Pinning to Windows Explorer appears. Release the mouse button.
- The folder is pinned to the Explorer. Now, just right-click on the Explorer icon in the taskbar and then on the folder name to open it.
- You can add as many folders as you want. To remove a folder, simply click on the small Upin from this list next to its name.
